New company joins Digital Poland Association. Suntar strengthens the voice of the Polish IT industry
Suntar, one of Poland’s largest technology companies specializing in comprehensive IT solutions, has joined the Digital Poland Association (Związek Cyfrowa Polska) as an associate member. Through this partnership, the organization representing Poland’s digital industry gains access to extensive expertise and many years of experience in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and modern IT infrastructure. At the same time, Suntar will benefit from cooperation with Poland’s largest association of technology companies and an active role in shaping the future development of the country’s digital market.
Suntar’s history is an example of the dynamic growth of Polish-owned technology businesses. Founded thirty years ago, the company now specializes in delivering endpoint solutions, IT infrastructure components, software, and proprietary services supporting the development of both private and public sector organizations.
Suntar’s market position is reflected in the ITwiz Best100 ranking. The company made its debut in the ranking in 2025, securing 7th place among the largest Polish-owned IT companies offering their own products and services, and 42nd place among the largest IT companies operating in Poland. This demonstrates the company’s growing importance within the domestic technology market.
Suntar is also HP’s largest partner in Poland, responsible for the most advanced deliveries and implementations. Customer projects are supported by a team of experts providing consulting services and a broad portfolio of solutions under Suntar Professional Services.
As Michał Kanownik, President of the Digital Poland Association, points out, cooperation with Suntar creates new opportunities for strengthening key technological competencies of the Polish economy.
“We hope that Suntar’s experts will become a strong voice on issues related to the digital transformation of businesses and public administration, cybersecurity, digital resilience, and the development of artificial intelligence. These are the foundations of a modern state and a competitive economy today,” says Michał Kanownik. “We are delighted to welcome a partner with such a strong market position and practical experience in implementing innovative technological solutions.”
Michał Cich, Vice President of Suntar, emphasizes the practical dimension of joining the Association:
“We view our membership in the Digital Poland Association in very practical terms. We want to be part of the discussion about how the Polish technology market should evolve and how to strengthen the digital capabilities of businesses and public institutions. We bring to this discussion experience from large-scale IT projects, a deep understanding of customers’ real needs, and expertise in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. For us, this is not merely membership in an industry organization. It is an opportunity for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and a real impact on the direction of Poland’s digital transformation.”
